Angela Yee is leaving The Breakfast Club to launch her own show.

Yee, hosted The Breakfast Club alongside Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy for 10 years. The show will continue with Envy and Charlamagne as hosts, Deadline confirmed. The daily morning show airs on more than 100 stations nationwide to more than 8 million monthly listeners. It was inducted into Radio Hall of Fame in 2020

Yee stirred up speculation on Twitter last night when she cryptically tweeted, "The breakfast club as you know it is over." Longtime fans immediately wondered if the show was coming to an end, and reminiscing on the show's most memorable moments — from DJ Envy's flare up with Desus & Mero (who recently broke up), to Ray J's drunken threats to Fabolous, to Azealea Banks' spicy interview, to Kodak Black's odd appearance, and Soulja Boy's meme'able "Drake" moment.

On this morning's show, however, Yee made it clear that The Breakfast Club will continue, just without her. She'll be launching her own show on iHeartRadio, which also broadcasts The Breakfast Club.

“This is really exciting,” she said this morning (8/10) on the show. “This is something that I’ve been waiting to do for years now, way before the pandemic….I have my podcast Lip Service and I was thinking I would be able to get something like a weekend situation.” She went on to say that she was approached by iHeart, who offered her a show of her own.
