Busta Rhymes is one of the greatest performers in hip-hop. Even with his 30 years of experience, Busta continues to showcase his elite breath control and charisma every time he takes the stage, proving it at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards this past September.

On Sunday night (January 2) Bus-a-Bus proved he did not need high-budget stage production to put on a helluva show. During a dinner party for his friend International Special’s birthday, Busta gave an impromptu performance of his verse on Chris Brown’s 2011 hit “Look at Me Now,” for the dinner party guests.

Released in February 2011 from Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E. album, “Look At Me Now” debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since soared to 8x platinum status. The song was nominated for both Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

“Look At Me Now” remains one of Busta Rhymes’ most iconic verses and is one of many reasons why he’s such a feared Verzuz opponent. Fat Joe recently claimed “everybody” is scared of facing the Leaders of the New School emcee in a Verzuz battle, while Lil Jon believes Busta could “smoke” JAY-Z in the ring.
