NFT, a.k.a non-fungible tokens, are the latest rage in the digital space and are changing how art is sold and consumed on the internet, and it seems like Eminem is into it. 

According to a report by Hypebeast, Eminem bought a Bored Ape NFT, named “EminApe,” for a whopping $425,000. The NFT resembles the Detroit emcee, wearing an olive-green Army hat and a classic Cuban-link chain. The NFT was sold by BAYC member GeeGazza for 123.45 Eth last Thursday night (December 30). 

A representative for Em told XXL that the rapper bought the Bored Ape NFT and owns it. Slim has since made the NFT his Twitter avatar. 

A day after Em purchased his NFT (December 31), GeeGazza jumped on Twitter to show his appreciation of having the rapper as a buyer. "I’m living in a simulation. Thank you @Eminem for buying my ape and joining the club! Madness. Let me write a lyric in your next single," he tweeted along with a cry-laughing emoji.
