In February of last year Eminem made history when Til I Collapse (his 2002 collab with the late Nate Dogg from The Eminem Show) hit 1 billion streams becoming the most streamed non single in Spotify history. His tweet from Thursday (January 27th) indicates that heâs done it again with Without Me: âCould start a revolution polluting the airwavesâ â#Without Me now in @spotify #BillionsClubâ. Without Me was also featured on The Eminem Show.
According to Chart Data, Eminem also set the record for the most albums with 1 billion streams. His 1999 offering The Slim Shady LP made him the first artist with 11 albums to hit the 1 billion mark. The Marshal Mathers LP (2000), The Eminem Show (2002), Encore (2004), Relapse (2009) Recovery (2010), The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013), Revival (2017), Kamikaze (2018), Music To Be Murdered By (2020), Curtain Call -Â Greatest Hits (2005) all have accumulated over 1 billion streams.
Eminemâs discography accounts for more than 21 billion Spotify streams and in 2011 he was declared the first Hip Hop artist to hit 1 billion views on YouTube. Emâs name has been hot in recent months due to the various conversations about potential Verzuz outcomes between various artists. Last weekend Dr. Dre posted a video of Eminem rapping the final verse to this 2020 song Godzilla with the caption Marshall Mathers vs who? Swizz beats replied that Busta Rhymes was a worthy opponent. Eminem will perform at the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar.
