Kanye West and Drake's “Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert,” an Amazon-sponsored event broadcast live on all three of its streaming platforms; and the show served as a formal end to the long-standing feud between the two rappers. The show took place in Los Angeles. Ye and Drake took the stage in front of 70,000 at The L.A. Memorial Coliseum Thursday (Dec. 9). Ye performed several hits from his entire catalog and The Sunday Service Choir got things going.

Drake would later exclaim: “When we were walking through the archway it felt surreal, to be on stage with one of my idols as he runs though his catalog.” The Toronto-born rap star performed less of his back catalog and more of his current hits, like Life is Good,” and “Way 2 Sexy.” The show was, in effect, a Kanye West concert, with Drake doing a smaller set and the two artists paying homage to each other. West performed Drake's “Find Your Love,” with Drake dropping a bit of Ye's "24," from his latest album DONDA.

The 71-year old Hoover is currently being held in ADX Florence in Colorado, one of the most secure prisons in the US. He's been incarcerated since the 70s for his involvement in crimes such as gang-affiliated murder and extortion; he was convicted of running the Gangster Disciples from prison in 1997.

Ye made an impassioned plea to his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. During his performance of his 2011 hit "Runaway," he started to freestyle and directly mentioned Kim.

"Run right back to me!" he said repeatedly, before adding, "More specifically, Kimberly."
