Kendrick Lamar has not released an album since 2017’s DAMN, but sources tell Billboard that a new Kendrick single may arrive on February 4th or 11th before he plays the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Kendrick has been relatively quiet in the last 5 years since DAMN. He appeared on Range Brothers and Family Ties from Baby Keem’s The Melodic Blue album. K Dot spoke last year on his next album, announcing that it would be his last on Top Dawg Entertainment.

“As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The struggles. The success. And most importantly, The Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators as I continue to pursue my life’s calling” he said on social media.

Top Dawg CEO Antony Tiffith wrote “This is more of a VICTORY LAP, a celebration. I know he will be successful in whatever it is that he decides to do and will have our FULL SUPPORT. As for Top Dawg, we will continue to grow, develop and give artists the platform to expand into whatever way they choose.”
