MC and viral Tik Tok sensation Nems, popular for his "Don't Ever Disrespect Me,""F*ck Your Life," and "Bing Bong" slogans and videos has opened a retail merch store in Brooklyn's Coney Island.

"There's never really been a rapper from Coney Island," Nems said. "I love representing Coney Island, it's like the forgotten part of Brooklyn. [The store] is validation of years of hard work, I always knew that something would get me to the next level, I didn't know what it was gonna be, it happened to be Bing Bong."

The store, located on Mermaid Avenue features his FYL (F*ck Your Life) clothing line and has finally opened after months of renovations. Dubbed "The Mayor of Coney Island", Nems sold hoodies, t-shirts, hats and socks that contained his "F*ck Your Life" slogan out of his trunk prior to acquiring his Tik Tok fame. Once his Tik Tok popularity lead to fans visiting his Coney Island neighborhood where many of his videos were filmed, he felt that the storefront would be a wise move.

Nems told Brooklyn Paper that the store is doing very well. "Better than I expected. We had a grand opening that did amazing,” he said. “We’re doing great and summer hasn’t even gotten here yet. We did amazing in the winter months which is usually when we’re dead in Coney Island. So if we’ve done great in the winter time, I’m expecting to do amazingly in the summer.”

On the music front Nems has collaborated with Kool G. Rap, Ghostface Killah, Scram Jones, Uncle Murda, Dave East, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes and Styles P of The Lox. He recently released "New York Is Killing Me" with Scram Jones, Dave East and Uncle Murda.
