Newsmax host Greg Kelly is absolutely furious about Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre performing at this year’s 2022 NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show. The conservative news anchor went on an angry rant against the California hip-hop legends, calling their music “disgusting nonsense” while denouncing them as artists.  

“F the NFL. They’re anti-American. They’re 1,000% woke. They barely show the National Anthem anymore. I can’t watch. Not with Snoop Dogg and his boys doing their disgusting nonsense.”

Kelly went on to criticize the emcee’s use of the term “fuck the police” while congratulating the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams as they prepare to play in the big game. 

This year will be the first time 5 major hip-hop artists all graze the halftime show stage together; Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige will be joining Snoop and Dre on the stage, making it one of the most anticipated hip-hop performances of all time. 

Hip-hop often gets put under fire from conservative news media, famously, Kendrick Lamar was ridiculed by Fox News reporter Geraldo Rivera, when he said “hip-hop has done more damage to young African-Americans than racism in recent years.” 

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are still yet to respond to Greg Kelly’s comments. With the Superbowl only two weeks away, the duo is likely to keep quiet regarding Kelly’s comments.
