Virginia wordsmith Pusha T has stepped down from his position as president of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint, a position that he has held since 2015. In an interview with XXL, King Push spoke on Kanye's recent inflammatory and racially-charged remarks.

"At the end of the day, shit is being said today that is beyond disappointing," the It's Almost Dry MC said. Pusha T says that he plans to release his music through Def Jam and his own label. In November, he told the Los Angeles Times that Kanye's antics were affecting him directly.

"It's definitely affected me and it's been disappointing," he shared. "As a Black man in America, there is no room for bigotry or hate speech, so yeah it's been very disappointing."

Pusha revealed to XXL that he and Kanye, (who changed his name to 'Ye' earlier this year) are no longer speaking.

"If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down,” he said. “And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it. I heard about this new stuff [Kanye's sit down with Info Wars host and founder Alex Jones]. I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it.”

Kanye produced half of the songs on It's Almost Dry Pusha T's latest album. He was also featured on the album's lead single Diet Coke, which was released in February.
