On Instagram Live on Tuesday (May 31), Soulja Boy shared his thoughts about Hip-Hip's OG's and their failure to mentor younger rappers.

"Don't get it fucked up, you gotta work hard, but in a way I feel like the game failed us 'cus they not kickin' back enough knowledge to the young niggas," the "Crank That" rapper said. "They not tellin' the young niggas how to get no money, they not tellin' us how to run up some bands, that's why we out here goin' crazy, airin' shit out and spinnin' shit."

According to the Atlanta rap star, there is so much ignorance because no one is schooling anyone else.

"And that's the problem, I'm trying to tell you bro, like niggas look back and be like, 'Where did this nigga go wrong, or what happened?' I'm like, y'all not kicking back no knowledge to the young niggas."

Soulja Boy is credited with being one of the very first rappers to get paid from YouTube. Soulja made news recently when Kanye West removed his verse from "Remote Control" from Donda, and the two engaged in a war of words on social media. They collaborated again on Donda 2 on "First Time In A Long Time." Soulja Boy announced in January that he was done with music and embarking on a career in film.
