Trina's niece was reportedly shot and killed while visiting her in Miami. TMZ reports the rapper's 17-year-old niece, Toni Chester (nicknamed "Baby Suga"), was killed Tuesday night (July 19) in what sources close to the family say was a case of being in the "wrong place at the wrong time."

It appears Chester was visiting the area, and law enforcement is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting to see if it was random or targeted. Two other women were also shot during the incident, though their condition is currently unknown.

The tragic news comes on the heels of Trina receiving her own annual “Trina Day” on May 14. Trina, who in a recent Drink Champs interview revealed she's been busy traveling for work, is currently slated to perform at Rock the Bells on Aug. 6.
