Z-Ro just etched another notch in his impressive career. The Houston rap vet was just awarded with an honorary doctorate from Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University.

Houston's Fox26 reports Z-Ro received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humanities and was also presented with a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Chancellor Dr. Verna Caddie nominated Z-Ro for the award largely based on his continued community work.

"It was my pleasure to nominate Z-Ro because he’s done so much in the community and the city of Houston," Dr. Matthews said in a statement. "But to see Z-Ro being publicly humiliated,I felt that it was high time to lift up our brother!!!"

Dr. Matthews is referring to the viral fight between Z-Ro and fellow Houston rapper Trae The Truth back in August (Trae and Z-Ro are also cousins). "What the Devil does to humiliate…. GOD will put you in place to elevate!!!" she continued. "Therefore, we at Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University did just that! Congratulations again Dr. Z-Ro1"

Z-Ro was excited about the honor when he shared the news on Instagram. “Over the weekend some cool shit happened,” he wrote. “Now when they say ‘Is there a Doctor in the house?’ I can be like ‘Dr. Rothalamu Vandralian at your service!’ I also received a Lifetime Achievement Award!”
